Aurora Nighting-Gale has lived a normal life in Sector C of the One Republic, at least until her sixteenth birthday when she was discovered to be one of the people gifted with powers in the new society. Without having the chance to say goodbye to her parents she is quickly whisked away to The Academy to practice her powers. There she is placed in a group where she learns that every group competes for the ultimate prize: Graduating from The Academy. Can the team that Aurora is placed into win the competition? Is the school system hiding secrets? Or will normal boarding school drama get in their way of victory?
