"Hey Jasm-" "Save it, is it true?" "What are you talking about?" "Is it true that you asked me out because of a bet?" He sighed. "I'm sorry, but yes." I slapped him then, turned to start walking away when I was yanked back by my elbow."Janice just please listen to me. Let me explain." "You have five seconds to get your hands off of me." He used the hand that wasn't holding my elbow to pinch the bridge of his nose. "God Jas, you're so difficult." "3 seconds left." "Can you stop?!" I looked away from a person by the lunch line tying his shoes that had my previous attention and looked at Cole. "Stop what?" I said while putting emphasis on the 'what'. "Stop acting like a bitch." In a split second I had pulled back my arm clenching my fist and threw it forward with such force that Cole stumbled backwards when it connected, the dull thud and gasp of surprise confirmed that I had winded him. He clutched his nose with both hands, letting go of my elbow. "What was that for?" I walked away throwing a 'Your time was up' over my shoulder.

I ran right into a fence and fell down. I got back up and turned around. Blake was right there. He pinned me up against the wood. "You are so stupid!" He chuckled. He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He sprayed the substance all over me until I blacked out. -- 16 year old Cathy moves from a small Rhode Island town to the big Austin, Texas.
