Hell House

Viktor recently moved into Hell House, a manor-like apartment building which has an unruly reputation. According to the locals, strange things happen there and even stranger things are seen. From ghosts to to devils to shape-shifting figures, it is a complex with a complex. Now that Viktor is the only human who lives there among all of the things that go bump in the night, Jackson, one of the resident 'devils', makes it his mission not to let Viktor learn about what he lives with.

Nine months later and after much meddling on Kris's part, their friendly neighborhood ghost, Viktor now knows what he has been seeing is real and Jackson is forced to give up his self proclaimed mission. He wants to simply ignore everything and just wait for when everything goes wrong and Viktor pays the price, but after protecting him for nine months Jackson has begun to feel...close...to Viktor, and now he can't seem to keep his nose away from him.

What will happen when everything does go down the drain and Jackson can't pull away from Viktor, his human best friend? Jackson is a demon, a devil; they are supposed to relish the suffering of humans, yet from the beginning Jackson found himself invested in Viktor's well being. Does it pay for Viktor, a human, to have a protective demon for a guard dog, or is it something he can't afford?
