All of her life, Stormy has been scared of storms. That fear only grew when she lost her father in a tornado.
One spring night, a tornado ripped though her little town, leaving behind nothing but death and destruction. But by a stroke of luck or maybe a little bit of grace from god, she and her baby girl survive the storm.
Matt is no stranger to tornados. He's seen the destruction they cause, the family they rip apart, with his own eyes. Having lost his wife and daughter to the 2011 Joplin tornado, he's been too scared to get back to living life.
When he finds that Stormy and her infant daughter are the only survivors of tornado that ripped though their side of the county, he feels a pull to them unlike anything he's ever felt before.
Will Matt and Stormy find the happiness they both deserve? Will Matt be Stormy's protection from the storm?

Gears grew up with a fascination for all things mechanical. Even with her selective mutism she somehow made fast friends with Addy and Praveen who introduced her to Jeb and Kate who also got her roped in with Javi. After a negative encounter with a EF5 Kate leaves the state and Javi takes Gears with him to Florida where they both join the military. Gears excells at bomb deactivation and detonation while Javi joins the more intellectual side of things. After both get honorably discharged Gears is more than happy to join Javi in his career endeavors when he promises her all access to anything technological. Now it's tornado season and they are in for a whirlwind of excitement as they start their journey. Javi quickly realizes he'll need to get Kate on board to come back as they struggle to surround a tornado. And in all of it Gears can't help herself but to look at the cameraman of the Tornado Wranglers and he himself can't help but to be fascinated by her.

lily had known on that god foresaken day that the tornado was no joke. she knew that if something were to go wrong, it would happen to her of all people so it was no suprise that what they thought would be the coolest experience of their lives would soon turn into the worst. after all the lost lives of not only her friends, but of the close towns to the tragedy, she left oklahoma with a heavy heart and no hopes of returning. she moved to l.a. and pursued a career in singing, completely throwing her dreams of getting to the top of the publishing industry into the trash. that was what she wanted when she had so much love and support. when she had a tight knit group of friends but with only two of them left, she couldn't bear to have any reminder of her old life. she even almost cut off her brother, javier, completely. he was a harsh reminder of everything she had lost and it broke her heart to not be with him together in a town they both had loved. but her love had soon diminished the second her best friends died. she's now just a shell of who she used to be, but she was happy in her own fucked up way. so what happens when she feels the pull of oklahoma beckoning her home? her brother needs her and she could never deny him. if you had told her she'd succeed in stopping a tornado from killing anyone else she loved she would have said "screw you" and walked away in a cloud of self fury. if you had also told her she'd fall in love with a cowboy she would've wanted every detail you could give her.Concluída
