There has always been a section of the galaxy closed off to all of the galactic Civilization. Known simply as the Montoken Region and encompassing 20% of the galaxy, no one has dared stray close to this region. It supposedly is home to monsters of all kinds, dangers straight out of nightmares, and even leviathans that roam the space hunting everything. It has been so dangerous that even the Reapers have avoided the area throughout all their cycles.
What Happens when dozens of species, hundreds of civilizations, and thousands of different lifeforms evolve in the safety of this Region? Answer: They war against each other until an outside force makes them all work together. That was what happened, the Prethoryn Scourge forced the nations of the Montoken arm to work together.
Now in 2900s, these nations, United under the Galactic Commonwealth of Nations, look to explore and expand outside the Montoken arm. They will encounter the 'powerful's, the misfortune, and those seeking to bring the galaxy under their heels. It's a good thing the Commonwealth has a bunch of Titans however because some people are going to need a laser down their throats.

Humanity is not alone in the universe. More specifically Earth is not alone. It is an age of wonder for humanity. For all but a few. Our history has been altered, according to one who has visions of the fractured world that could have been but never was. The way history would have played out without an intergalactic coalition of humans visiting Earth. And he cannot decide whether the advanced human's arrival is really all that it seems. Whether we would have been better off as things are now, or with how his visions tell him things ought to have been. There are multiple worlds colonized by a vast space faring technologically and biologically enhanced human race all across the galaxy. Earth is just one of many of such colonies. At some point in our forgotten past Earth was cut off from our intergalactic neighbors and decides to fend for herself. Later we lose ourselves to infighting and nationalism instead of being true to our nature of being a space dwelling, intergalactic human cooperative. Now our space cousins are reestablishing contact with Earth. Bringing their superpower enabled, technological mastery of science so advanced as to seem supernatural. Eliminating slavery, wars, crime, diseases, climate shifts, and currency, with their arrival. Offering the promise of entry into a thriving united galactic empire. (I am dropping in from time to time updating the story with fresh ideas as they pop into my head this is so very much a first draft I have not even decided on names for some of the characters or different factions of humans that are to be encountered from beyond our solar system)

And began to lose control, crashing into a habitable planet that was sitting in the orbit. This would have been ignored and declared a tragedy, if it weren't for a mysterious Crystal and organization to briefly rock the Mid Atlantic United States. Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. The world of Terra has long endured its suffering-wars unending, nations fractured, and the slow, merciless advance of Oripathy. For centuries, mankind has struggled merely to survive, clutching to what little stability remained amidst calamity. Yet, in the waning years, the Ursus Empire sought to transcend limitation. A council of scientists unveiled an experimental machine-the Particle Accelerator. Its purpose was veiled in equal parts ambition and desperation: to harness a boundless new source of energy, or perhaps to forge a weapon that could alter the balance of power across Terra. But their gamble tore a wound in the very fabric of reality. Through the rift they opened, another world was revealed-strange, vast, and untamed. At first, awe overcame fear. Surviving Daions were absorbed harmoniously into Coalition populations. That's what Coalition history recorded. In reality plague survivors were abused, ostracized, and lately their descendants were disappearing - relatively unnoticed - from the sectors where they'd been assigned residence. Right now war is whispering through every sector as political tensions rise between Coalition's Central Worlds and the Isolated Radicals. Half the galaxy away, seeking resources under the lie of peaceful exploration, Dockland is the oldest scanner ship in the Coalition fleet and has the long abandoned Daion Central World listed as one of their possible next assignments.
