((*Book 1 of the Creatures of Palera series*))

"The tribes must come together, a dragon from each, a hawk, a sea-cat, and a human with a dragon's tongue, if they fail, if they don't meet and change the tides and ripples of tension... then you can count the Paleran isles more doomed than a icicle dropped in a volcano"

What happens when the Prophecyer has a vision, one for a dangerous future, one that spells out doom and disaster that could result in the shatterings of the fragile bonds holding the tribes in peace... and strange enough, the only one who might be able to fix things... is a young Rosewing, Evergreen has to find the other creatures in the prophecy and save Palera, save the world... a hard feat for any dragon, will she be able to do it? Or will the isles, and the fragile future crumble like nothing more than a cracked window...?

Wings Of Fire: Whisper In The Shadows (book 1) by gqldwing
24 parts Complete
Belladonna, the heir to the Rainwing throne and the daughter of Queen Glory and King Deathbringer thought that her only problems were trying to conceal her mind-reading abilities and secure a peaceful future for the tribes in the Rain Kingdom. That is until a strong, protective Skywing/Seawing soldier stumbles into her life in search of his long-lost brother. While the two groups, Gale and Storm travel the continent to find each other, (with the help of Tempest and Belladonna,) they begin to catch glimpses of a changing Pyrriah and start wondering what is really happening in the alleys and backstreets of the world. The answer is in the gatherings of dragons who yearn for a change in power and are willing to sacrifice everything to destroy the current Pyrriah and build a new empire from the ashes. Soon a prophecy surfaces, speaking of six misfit dragonets as the ones to save the fate of Pyrriah again... The dragonets of the prophecy, Belladonna, who will have to overcome her fears and face an oncoming war, Storm an orphan Sea/Sky hybrid in the Skywing army, Desert a runaway Ice/Sand orphan who is a wanted fugitive on the run from the Icewing army, Tempest a Seawing who lives in the Deep Palace with her parents Tsunami and Riptide, Blizzard a sarcastic Icewing with a tortured past and Gale, who is a sweet and intelligent Sea/Skywing. These dragonets are destined to stop the secret rebel plots that are spreading like wildfire through Pyrriah. But there are challenges in the distance, including past villains being risen from the dead and a mixture of heartbreak, betrayal, fatalities, and imprisonment. There is no time to wait, revolution is brewing, and another war is approaching fast on the horizon. Will these new 'dragonets of destiny' be able to stop the oncoming flood of vengeance and save all of Pyrriah? I guess we'll see. !!Violence/fight scenes!! Undergoing slight editing at the moment The world and some of the characters belong to Tui T. Sutherland

Imagine reading your favorite book series when you're suddenly transported into it. That's what happend to Daniel Lorence when he is transported into the fictional world of Pyrrhia. With the knowledge of reading all fifteen books he knows everything about everyone, however when an unforseen prophecy comes into play -one that never made an appearance in the books- Daniel will have to go on a perilous journey if he ever wishes to escape alive. All while he tries to keep his true identity a secret from his new friends. But when somone starts to pull the strings on his mind as well as the minds of the dragons around him, he finds himself risking it all to save a world he's not even supposed to exist in. As well as having to make the choice.. If living life as dragon... Is worth leaving his human life behind. ---------------------------- Hello fellow WoF readers this is only my second story and my first based on WoF so expect errors. I accept any ideas and Constructive criticism (don't be too harsh please) so come along for the ride. NOTE: Things may seem off within 4h story such as: A confusing timeline, unexplained plot holes, out of character reactions, etc. All I can say is that they're in there on purpose for the most part and will be explained as you read through the story. So if you're confused, don't worry about it, it'll likely be answered later. Also warning that this book contains some swearing every now and then. Thanks to @StormingFire555 for the cover design.

UNVEILING SECRETS IS A RISKY CHOICE. The limits of Reef Beach aren't strong enough to stop Sapphire's curiosity. She's been so curious about the whole idea of never going out into the world. Sapphire wasn't going to sit around and wait, so sneaking out must be the right idea. But even being cautious and quiet isn't enough for the dangers that lurk around to stop them from tangling Sapphire into them. When she accidentally catches herself in a lot of trouble, she needs to recover and fight back. But, then she gets into a bigger mess . . . . Staying close to the shadows in the moonlit night, she crawls her way in to find the answers. How did she end up in Reef Beach? Who are her parents - and why did they leave her there? How come Reef Beach is so limited? When her friends are in danger and she finds out about the raging war between the NightWings and SeaWings, Sapphire needs to act up. But finding the answers to all her questions isn't as simple as waving a wing. Finding new secrets, new friends, and even unveiling a prophecy. More questions come to her. Can she fulfill this prophecy? Will Sapphire succeed to stopping the war? Or will the war drag on endlessly with more dragons dying one by one . . . .
