'The largest egg in mountain high, will give to you the wings of sky.' We all know how the SkyWing egg was lost right? Well, in this world, what if the SkyWing egg didn't shatter? What if the dragonet inside it actually survived? What if the SkyWing was hidden in a deep pit with only a sick IceWing guardian to take care of? After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest. However, a strange occurrence happened at Jade Mountain. He and a few friends try to solve the mystery, gathering up all the clues while the SkyWing wonders if he should go back to his guardian. Soaren had hid his true identity as the 'lost' SkyWing, but he needs to eventually open up. With the NightWings in the Rainforest, more mind readers will be born and they'll find out who he is. But worst of all, he'll have to face something far more terrible than anyone could have imagined... Disclaimer: I do not own any of these characters from the best book series in the world, they are the characters of the great and magnificent Tui T. Sutherland. The only characters I own are my OCs. P.S I give full credit to my awesome fanfiction writer friend for coming up with this fanfiction and credit to Book-dragon-Wof who helped with ideas.

"You were apparently picked up at the last minute. The original Skywing egg was destroyed, but luckily we were delivered your egg, unfortunately we ended up raising a lazy Rainwing as well." "But Mudwings and Skywings are our enemies! And the Skywing could be a spy for all we know!! He looks just like a Seawing!" "Is he ok? The strange blue dragon has been muttering in his sleep. Not sure if it was the sleeping darts, but he was muttering some words or something..." "We'll have to kill the blue Skywing, too. He seems pretty useless other than not looking like a real Skywing and refusing to act like one." "Look, whatever you tell us, no matter what, we'll always be your friends!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This story is basically Wings of Fire, but there is a Wings of Sky. The twist is that the Skywing is James, or Phoenix in this story. Basically James gets pulled into a portal that takes him to the WoF universe, and in order to go back to his home he has to do one thing: help the rest of the dragonets stop the war. I'll be keeping Glory in bc I don't wanna leave out our sassy Rainwing queen, and also bc plot. Of course, there will be plenty of things that will change, which you will see as the story progresses! Keep in mind that characters may act OOC (Out Of Character) to fit my writing style, so I don't want to see any of you yell at me about it. If you have a problem with this then either be nice about it or leave the book. Small heads up: This will contain spoilers for the first 5 Wings of Fire books from The Dragonet Prophecy to The Brightest Night. If you have not read those books yet I suggest you read them, but otherwise you are free to read this. (warnings will be on the first page due to lack of space in description) Credit: WOF characters and dragon tribes here all belong to Tui T. Sutherland. The Discord Gang characters belong to their respective owners. Any artwork belongs to me unless I say otherwise!

Belladonna, the heir to the Rainwing throne and the daughter of Queen Glory and King Deathbringer thought that her only problems were trying to conceal her mind-reading abilities and secure a peaceful future for the tribes in the Rain Kingdom. That is until a strong, protective Skywing/Seawing soldier stumbles into her life in search of his long-lost brother. While the two groups, Gale and Storm travel the continent to find each other, (with the help of Tempest and Belladonna,) they begin to catch glimpses of a changing Pyrriah and start wondering what is really happening in the alleys and backstreets of the world. The answer is in the gatherings of dragons who yearn for a change in power and are willing to sacrifice everything to destroy the current Pyrriah and build a new empire from the ashes. Soon a prophecy surfaces, speaking of six misfit dragonets as the ones to save the fate of Pyrriah again... The dragonets of the prophecy, Belladonna, who will have to overcome her fears and face an oncoming war, Storm an orphan Sea/Sky hybrid in the Skywing army, Desert a runaway Ice/Sand orphan who is a wanted fugitive on the run from the Icewing army, Tempest a Seawing who lives in the Deep Palace with her parents Tsunami and Riptide, Blizzard a sarcastic Icewing with a tortured past and Gale, who is a sweet and intelligent Sea/Skywing. These dragonets are destined to stop the secret rebel plots that are spreading like wildfire through Pyrriah. But there are challenges in the distance, including past villains being risen from the dead and a mixture of heartbreak, betrayal, fatalities, and imprisonment. There is no time to wait, revolution is brewing, and another war is approaching fast on the horizon. Will these new 'dragonets of destiny' be able to stop the oncoming flood of vengeance and save all of Pyrriah? I guess we'll see. !!Violence/fight scenes!! The Missing Dragon

34 parts Complete

Prequel to the unfinished story, A Dragon's Adventure, this is how humans and wings coexist peacefully and how Lylian came to be. As a young dragonet living during the time of war, Lylian was raised differently partly from the fact that she is the princess of all dragons, but also because she is the prophecy dragonet. Instead of being taught only the basic hunting, flying, and surviving as an adult, she was also taught how to use magic, command other dragons, and how to negotiate. Because of this, Lylian tend to go missing and get herself in unpredictable situations. Luckily, each time this happens, she has friends to help her out. But each time she goes missing, she discovers a clue to her family's past, more sinister than the last. If she is able to find out what happened to them and avenge them, she might just be able to become a dragon worthy of being in the prophecy. But if she doesn't figure it out soon, everyone will be doomed. Will she be able to put the clues together to unlock her family's past? Or will she doom everyone including the friends she holds dear to her? *Slight spoiler to A Dragon's Adventure, Maybe?* I drew the cover myself, I hope it isn't too bad. Completed
