Peter Parker thought he could catch a break.
After being bitten by a radioactive spider, losing his aunt and uncle, and nearly dying after an attack from an evil technology company, he had hoped he could spend some time with his new family. But that wasn't the case, obviously.

HYDRA, angered by the loss of their new weapon thanks to the infamous villain, Evil Guy, are out to get Peter back by any means necessary. But when Thanos' Snap takes him off the board, they turn to the next best thing: the Ghost-Spider.

Gwen Stacy and Harley Keener have been struggling.
Ever since the snap took away Gwen's parents and crippled Harley's leg, the two have been at odds. Both trying not to act like they care too much about the other, they enter a phase of an on-and-off relationship. It isn't until HYDRA starts coming after Gwen that they put their differences aside and work together to keep her safe.

This book is written as a sequel, but you don't have to read it that way (my other book is sooo long). See SUMMARY if you want to have a quick recap.
Cover edit is, I am proud to say, mine, so do not steal it if you'd be so kind :3

It's almost funny. How grief sneaks up on you. One second, you're fine; you're coping well and then it hits you like a bullet, tearing right through your heart, almost killing you on the spot. Grief is a monster that lies dormant in the darkest quarters of your mind, growing stronger and stronger until you can't fight anymore. Until you can't breathe. Peter was fractured. The monster having grown too big, and without any support left to hold him up, the world of drugs dug its claws into him. And it was slowly killing him, like a sickly sweet poison that dulled the pain while quietly feeding on his soul. He was powerless to stop it. He was too tired to stop it. Tony was doing pretty good. Aside from having died, he was doing pretty good. Resurrected from the dead, check. Thanos dead, check. Wife and daughter thriving, check. He'd never expected to get his life back, that was for sure. He was thankful for the second chance. Unfortunately, Tony was quick to discover that the kid had all but lost his own life. It felt like a knife slowly twisting into his chest every time he saw the kid: in agony. Now Tony wasn't exactly the poster-child for a good emotional support figure, but he wasn't about to sit back and let this continue. No matter how hard the kid fought him, no matter how much resistance he was met with, Tony would help the kid. Still, he couldn't help the fear that laced his blood. Tony couldn't help but question whether he would be able to save Peter from the weight of grief. **NO Starker** Triggers Warnings: Substance Use/Abuse Depressive and/or Suicidal Thoughts/Mentions Rape Threats/Mentions Descriptive Blood/Minimal Gore Some Self-Harm Coarse Language Mental Illness (various) This is a heavier story, so please don't read if you're not comfortable with any of the above triggers. "I didn't even know you were my uncle, and now that I'm stuck living with you, the first thing you want me to do is spy on my best friend?!" I yelled, annoyed. "I mean, yeah. Is that a problem?" Tony asked. "Yeah! You didn't know about my mom! You don't know what I'm going through! The only person that's there for me is Peter, and now you want me to do stuff behind his back!" He sighed. "I know, you're right. But, I really need you to do this." I looked at him. "Hell no. I'm not going to do it just because you need me to." "Just... go to his house. Now. You'll see why." "Fine. But just so you know, I'm not going there for you. I'm going there to see my friend. And I may not be back until tomorrow." I turned to walk out, but I turned back real quick. "Oh, and I'm taking one of your suits. Stipulations, you know?" Alison "Allie" Stark never really had a lot of friends. But, there was one person who has been her bestie since kindergarten: Peter Parker. No matter what, they've been there for each other, especially when Allie's mom has cancer. But, there's one thing that Peter never told her: he is Spider-Man. So, when Allie's mom died and she figures out that she's the niece of Tony Stark, at first she's reluctant to accept his request to spy on Peter. But, after his secret is revealed, the adventures begin. And she couldn't be happier. I mean, who wouldn't be ecstatic to get to spend all the time in the world with their crush since fifth grade? THIS BOOK DOES CONTAIN LANGUAGE!! I WARNED YOU!! Another note: Not every single word is mine and mine alone. I do copy some dialogue directly from the movie Spider-Man: Homecoming. I do this to keep the main storyline as close to the original as possible, just with some added characters and side stories. The MCU is one of my favorite things in the world, so I want to give them credit where credit is due.

Sequel to Punching Bag! My heart is beating about as fast as I'm spinning the two rings around my finger. I stare out the jet windows at the changing landscape, so different from where I just was. I pause and look down at the rings with nostalgia staining my tongue. A smile curves my lips up when I fiddle with the bottom shining silver band with the little A on it and then the little spider on the other. "You need to calm down. Even I can hear your heartbeat." Natasha tells me calmly as she flies. A moment passes with her searching jade eyes on mine before I sigh. "It's been three months," I tell her green eyes as she suppresses a smile. "I've been gone longer. This was your chance to stretch your legs, Jo, and you did extremely well." She reassures me. "What's bothering you?" Natasha pushes slightly, knowing I'm not telling her something. My eyes roll. "Are you forgetting I didn't exactly have permission to leave? And how adamant everyone was that I shouldn't have?" She raises an eyebrow. "Everyone?" She repeats and I deflate slightly in surrender. She was on my side, mostly. "You're over eighteen and legally allowed to make your own decisions. The team has no hold on you, Jo." I fix her with an incredulous glare and her lips twitch. "Other than affection." Sighing, I press my lips together. "Right. And that has no hold on me." It's been three years since the events in Punching Bag and three months since Jo left to be on her own. Returning back to the facility has its own set of problems though. Including a stubborn Steve Rogers, broken-hearted Peter Parker, and an American public that Jo must win over to be an Avenger. And even more surprises down the line... *I DO NOT OWN THE AVENGERS.
