"I mean, I am the better best friend anyways" he scoffs "You're the one I wanted, still do, but you're playing," I said to him as if it's the most obvious thing on the face of the earth.
"I'm not a player so I don't play," he states as he stares me dead in the eye with an emotion I couldn't quite decipher, hurt maybe? "and besides, I don't want to drown" he says while smirking. That smile is going to be the death of me.
"You're a big boy, you can swim, can't you?" I say with a tone laced with seductive confidence. Saint seems a bit taken by surprise by my sudden confidence, I'm not going to lie, so am I.
"I can swim..." he says and a sudden flash of mischief flashes in his eyes, how can this boy keep eye contact throughout a conversation like this? Teach me your ways, you're making me nervous !!! "I don't mind drowning though" he says while nibbling on the piece of dry skin on his bottom lip, those pink, soft lips. I take a step forward and he doesn't move "So face your fears and drown a little bit" I say. Saint steps forward and we're now a foot apart "So let's drown a little bit" he says while taking another step forward and we're toe-to-toe. "Okay" I mutter while craning my neck to look at him. He leans forward and I meet him half way, "Okay" he says while smiling.
Next thing a scream pulls us out of our trance.
