The redheads hand trembled, reaching out to hug him, but it felt as if he couldn't, like he was a fish swimming upstream, and can't reach his destination. The short boys' eyes couldn't meet the others, who were watching him. Pulling his hood infront his face, wiping his eyes, which made a few dark, liquid stains.
10 year old Max, he's been going to camp since he was 4, well, not going. He has been getting left behind with strangers since he was 4. And he hated it. There were rules there, at home. He didn't have any rules, but that wasn't a good thing. He used to think that how he was treated was "normal", until a tall man was nice to him, and protected him as if he was his son.
