This is an excerpt from the Vyscher Tales Part 1 and Part 2 that detail some of Serev's past, as well as that of the Cloud Dancer. If you're not in the mood to read both of those books prior to reading Cloud Dancer (The spin off for A Rock And A Heart Place), then this would help you understand her past. Read how Serev became the captain of the Cloud Dancer flying ship and some of the experiences that shaped her current life.

And she was drowning in it, the sensation of him kissing her; of rain everywhere, running off her eyelashes; of letting his hands slide freely over the wet, crumpled fabric of her dress, made thin and clinging by the rain. It was almost like having his hands on her bare skin, her chest, her hips, her stomach; when he reached the hem of her dress, he gripped her legs, pressing her harder against the wall while she wrapped them around his waist. ***** Writing is pretty crap in the first few chapters, but I swear my vocabulary improved later on, so please bear with it!
