This is a spin off of both A Rock And A Heart Place and The Vyscher Tales Part 1 and 2. Reading A Rock And A Heart Place would help a lot, and excepts from The Vyscher Tales Part 1 and 2 can be found in Serev's Story to help understand Serev's past (Since I can't make you read too much!), though if you're feeling crazy you can skip them!

Inya is the youngest daughter of Queen Medya and Queen Inez of Appalya. Having heard the story of how her mothers had met countless times from a young age, she wants nothing more than to have her own adventure.

Serev is the captain of the Cloud Dancer, a flying ship that has been travelling the world for over a year. In the past she has been a warrior, a mercenary captain, a slave and a savior. When she meets Inya, it doesn't take long for the sparks to fly, but Serev's past may keep her from ever choosing the happiness that Inya feels that they could find together.
