!FEM READER INSERT THE JABBERWOCKY was a monster that only existed in your fathers stories- a made-up monster that your father created so he could scare you into being more obedient. Until one day, it came to life. One night, when your father had beaten you with a belt and locked you in the closet for "misbehaving", that fear came to life. An ability that was supposedly never there, but manifested on its own. It greeted you as the JABBERWOCKY. You didn't just gain your fear of the dark that day, you gained an ability. You gained a friend. It came to you when you were beaten and bruised, when you were sad and lonely, when you just wanted to slit your throat right then and there and die. The JABBERWOCKY was always there for you during your lows, was there for you at your worst. It was there for you when you killed your father. Now you were 22, one of the best interrogators the mafia has to offer, and is so powerful and highly respected that many wonder as to why you haven't been promoted to an executive position. And through all the hardships and obstacles, the JABBERWOCKY was there with you till the end. And yet, a part of you didn't want it. You didn't like the evil you've become. You didn't want to kill. You wanted to offer something good to the world. You wanted to become better, despite everything you had done. Even with all this darkness inside you, can you somehow let go of your dark and traumatizing past and become one with the light? Can you finally let go of the menacing darkness that you call your friend when it was him who had helped you come this far?

They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise.
