Hwa Young was always a child desperate for love, she never felt any sort of love since she was born. Her parents didn't love her, and neither did the rest of her family. She was an only child and wasn't able to talk to any of her cousins.
The only reason she was still able to live in her parents' house was because she got good grades, her parents didn't mind her doing anything at all if she got good grades.
