A small village clockmaker finds himself indebted to a mysterious lord with his life. When this lord asks for the service of his only daughter for the rest of her life, Belle sets off with all the romanticisms books have filled her head with. However, she find that reality ends up being quite different from what she imagined and her new master quite the monster! With her life forfeit to pay off a debt, Belle has no choice but find a way to live with her new lord and his terrible temper while cleaning his long abandoned castle, uncovering the secrets that it holds.

It was a poor, shivering, elderly woman seeking shelter from the bitter winter storm. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince dismissed the woman. As a gift, the old woman offered the prince a single rose, but when he dismissed her again, the woman's outer appearance melted away. Only to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince begged for forgiveness, but it was too late - for she could see there was no love in his heart. The enchantress cursed the prince, transforming him into a hideous beast - and if he was unable to learn to love another, and earn their love in return by the time the last petal from the rose she offered had fallen, he would remain a beast forever. But the enchantress also placed the curse upon his innocent castle staff, who were transformed into antiques; suffering for the prince's mistake(s) in small, rusting, metallic bodies. Life was hard enough for the staff, but now - it was unbearable. ~ This story will go through the staff's struggles before, DURING, and after they were cursed. It will also fill plot holes and extend the ending of Beauty And The Beast. A majority of this story is a prequel, and will fall into a bit of a sequel as well, so I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!Concluida
