Madelyn was nine when she first learned how to use a bow and arrow. Her teacher was none other than Legolas Greenleaf. When she was twelve, her father was accused of betraying the king and was beheaded. Aragorn had been there and he took Madelyn in as his sister. When she was thirteen, she ran away and neither Legolas nor Aragorn knew where she went. Seven years later, Legolas saves a girl in the woods from being murdered. When he looks in her eyes, he knows it's Madelyn. Taking her back to Rivendell, she sits in on the council meeting and joins the Fellowship. There, she reunites with Aragorn and meets Boromir, who has a strange resemblance to her deceased father. As the journey carries on, Madelyn grows closer to Legolas and rebuilds her brother/sister relationship with Aragorn. But it's never that simple.
