Shinigami Leon is a Japanese student who was a Japanese-Russian half-blood at the time when Japan was divided into Russian and American territories.
Because he lives in American territory, Leon is often discriminated against by both native Japanese and half-blood Americans.
discrimination continues until his life ends due to bullets from a misfire during a clash and ends up being an adventurer in the fantasy world.

My Sweet Shina - Book One
It all started with a simple school project. Shina befriended Leon after he'd helped her, not realizing the secrets he kept hidden behind his dark eyes. Not understanding where his growing obsession would take them. By the time she did, it was already too late. They say love can save you, but it can also be a cruel thing. This is based off two oneshots from my book "I'm Totally Random", a her side/his side set I wrote. I was kindly requested to make them into something more. This is the result. A 27-year-old American named Ryan was doing his usual morning run through a forest in the United States Midwest when he was attacked by a magical orb that transported him to another world. While in this other World, he finds himself captured by a tribe of Dark Elves that summoned him and another human. This other guy that was captured with Ryan, is a Japanese teen who goes by the name Hiro. Unfortunately for Ryan, Hiro is a delusional edgy otaku who believes he's the Main Character and thinks he can get away with anything. This just adds more of an obstacle for Ryan to overcome. And he's worried about what the Dark Elves are planning to do with them as they force them to kill monsters. Causing their bodies to absorb mana. At some point the Dark Elves get attacked by a holy group known as the Divine Three, who are trying to rid the world of all subspecies, try to murder him. Ryan barely escaped with his life only for him to get chased by goblins into a Labyrinth. And worst of all, the mana from all the humans and monsters he had slayed has been affecting his body in weird ways as he begins to transform into a Dark (Female?!?) When magical beasts cross into Japan through portals, magical huntresses (and some magical huntsmen) are there to slay them. Consisting of a group of teenagers and young adults working semi-independently under the guise of the Protection and Research Agency, they fight day in and day out for a variety of reasons, using special rings to transform and gain weapons to use in their battles, for which they get paid for each magical beast they kill and bonuses if they save anyone attacked by them. One particular magical huntress, the sword-swinging orphan Ruka Kishio, is asked to join a small group of these hunters led by the charismatic Hana Miyashita, who herself wields a katana and is descended from former nobility, after Hana sees Ruka easily kill a beast by herself while on lunch break from school. Ruka, a girl with a troubled and at times traumatic past who usually fought alone, accepts after barely losing a sword duel to Hana. She soon finds herself bonding with the other members of the Fox Knights, in particular their second-in-command and only boy Yoshiro Arikawa despite the two of them frequently arguing, and she also finds herself becoming its third-in-command and primary trainer as they battle magical beast after magical beast. However, Hana has deeper ambitions to restore the honor of her family name, and she aspires to attain power by any means necessary. Can Ruka help Hana with her dreams, or will she be swept up in them?
