The fox who waited

At times Miko would wonder why she still waits for Ei to come back. And every time she would think to stop waiting every memory, she had with Ei came flooding back in her head. Miko hated the fact that she couldn't forget Ei. Ei was like a curse stuck in her head forever. For she was her eternal servant. She truly loved Ei, but it pained her every day to keep waiting for Ei to come back to her. And through everything she still loved Ei. She'd worry for her every day. She knew that she wasn't the only one suffering for Ei had been cursed with being the god of eternity. Every day that passed would pain her heart, but she would never forget that she isn't the only one who's suffering. But when the traveler came, she saw hope. She believed that not only would the traveler bring peace back to Inazuma but also bring Ei back to her. So, she waited for her opportunity.
