Fables & Follies

Within this book of beasts, you'll find
That creatures cruel - and creatures kind -
Are due rewards for foolish deeds
That serve a sinful role; designed
In verse, the sower plants the seeds -
And toils against the vices' weeds.

This poetry collection contains a selection of verse fables, often written in the style of Juvenalian satire. The book takes inspiration from Aesop in particular. (Many of the fables listed will be verse adaptations of classic Aesopica tales.) However, some will also be original takes on the fable genre.
