In a world where animals roamed the land, the world has given them powers, from their own abilities, their elements. And when humans started walking the earth, the animals gave them their abilities, their powers. With the animal's spirits, the humans were able to harness magic.
A lone island shaped like a turtle floating in the mediterranean stands out from all the other islands in the world as all magic, and all the humans who were able to use magic came from, years ago.

First 3 chapters have been rewrote. Its modern day, and the world has changed drastically. The old kingdoms now longer exist and the heavens are no longer as closely tied to the earth as they once were.The holy knights have ceased to exist, they are no longer even mentioned in the history books. The seven deadly sins are just sins in the christian religion. Except, in one family, an old story book is passed down through the Liones family, from parent to child. The book has come into possession of 17 year old Elias Liones, great descendant of Elizabeth Liones and King Arthur, and he has discovered that the world is in need of the Seven Deadly Sins once more. Elias summons Meliodas from hell and the two go and seek the reincarnations of the other sins. Isle of the Faeries
There are still some places in this world where magic exists. It clings to the remote parts of the world that Time has left behind and forgotten, where life is simpler and nature is powerful. An example is Teelin, an island off the coast of Ireland, in Teelin you are either a farmer or a fisherman unless you work in Rell the largest town on Teelin. There are few cars and fewer well paved roads, the summers are often cloudy and the winters bitter but there is a wild powerful magic in every leaf and every wave that crashes on the cliffs. It is not the magic of movies with pretty sparks and silly words, it is the raw elements, deep and dark, complex and dangerous. It is addicting, and to the residents of Teelin it is a part of life. Something to watch out for, something to beware of but in the end no different than the wild dog packs that roam the moors, dangerous but avoidable. For it is not humans who wield the magic, it is the Sidhe, the Fey who wander the island, who live in the forests and lurk under the waves.Complete

When my mother was alive, magic was the only string that kept her and I together. The silly card tricks, even pulling a rabbit out of the hat. It all connected me to her, pulling me into a seemingly better reality than where I was. But in the blink of an eye, she was gone. That string snapped. In a land far away, lived Morphers and Shapeshifters. Morphers were people who could morph into one animal, and Shapeshifters all animals. Royalty, people who lived in the center region of the land, could morph into four animals. There were six regions. One was the snowy, one the forest, one the beach, and one the plains. Those were four of the six. Then, there was the Shapeshifters land, filled with hills, and the royal land. The royal land was very posh, and the queen lived there. The Shapeshifters were getting very powerful through the days. The queen told them of a story to the people of the land."The Shapeshifters have been hiding a truth. They came to this land as robbers, robbing all of our things. So, I came to the land to stop them. The Shapeshifters are becoming really powerful, and they pose as a threat once again," she would tell the people. People got scared. When the Shapeshifters came to visit them, they would freeze in fear. The queen took action. She separated the land. The Shapeshifters were kicked out of the land. Only some remained in the hills, hidden. Though the people didn't realize that their queen wasn't telling the truth. In fact, the story was the other way around. The queen was the one who stole the land. She took over the land and the Shapeshifters surrendered. *** One day, two young twins were born in those hills.
