It's 2025, two years post blip and photography student Rosie Dylan is still learning how to rebuild her life. She's just trying to get to graduation and make enough cash to pay her rent. But then Captain America leaves her an unexpected voicemail. 

In Louisiana, Bucky feels more like himself than ever but he's stuck in a rut. He likes the lifestyle he lives, he's a free agent - both in work and play. 

But with Sam settling down, he starts to question what's next. 

When he meets Rosie, she intrigues him and she sparks something in Bucky that changes everything. There's something there, even if it takes a little while for Rosie to come around. As the wedding weekend comes to a close, a betrayal of trust sees Rosie ready to walk away. Except she needs a subject for her senior photography thesis and a mission involving a mysterious drug ring brings Bucky back to New York.
