This is a story about hope, faith, perseverance, and friendship. It is told through the tale of a friend group of five teenagers, all of them aged 13. It started out when they got to know each other in an online writing community. They searched for friends based on location and all of them who reside in Tangerang Selatan felt an instant connection among them. They chatted online almost everyday. They simply clicked with each other. They called themselves Gang "MIKIR", Indonesian slang for "think" and an acronym from the initial letters of their names, Melati, Indira, Karina, Ivan, and Rosa. Great minds think alike, they always say. One of them is not too fortunate in terms of wealth. During the pandemic, a lot of things happened to Rosa's family. Her school in a remote village in Bogor had to close down because no activities could be done at school. Never crossed their minds that it was the beginning of an adventure and an exposure to the world they never knew existed. This book will tell the story about their friendship and the struggle that Rosa had to go through in facing her family problem at home and the bitter reality of dropping out of school. What can be done by this friend group to help Rosa? What social phenomena they only heard from the media before and now see before their eyes that they are all real?

There is an unexpected turn in the story that drastically changes the course of events and, in the long run, even the lives of those involved. Magpie, the first to be involved, suddenly finds himself in the world so unlike his own. Will he find his place there or will he be at least able to go back home? He seems to find his way back from this new world of giga-dimensions but something unwanted happens, and things go worse. The cultural differences, together with a challenging personality traits of another involved in the events, suck Magpie and his friends into a downward spiral. The story challenges you to see the world differently from the perspective you are perhaps too used to and narrowed by. Life can be an adventure if you don't narrow it with a bigotry that forces you to be rooted in your trenches and behind your dividing walls. This doesn't mean you have to accept others' views without standing your ground. However, to be able to share our lives in this one and only world we need to make compromises, on both sides. Are you the first brave one to set this positive trend in motion? So read on and let the foundation of the story be laid. From the end of episode 1 on, the story really picks up, finally reaching its climax at the end of episode 3 with quite a surprising finish. Your participation in solving this shared challenge of coexistence and cooperation is highly appreciated. Remember those who cooperate make more progress than those who don't! The ideal audience for my first book is actually between 12 and 16, but anybody older and interested in adventures, cultures and in getting more understanding into our multifaceted world is sure to enjoy the story. (The whole story has now been published, the only thing I'll still add is the final epilogue but the story is already available in its entirety.)

Life is full of events and opportunities drifting in and out. From ordering a pizza while sitting at home to becoming a writer, you can do anything. Absolutely anything. Life has so much to offer....but what does it have to offer to a 12-year-old boy who lives in a slum? Samarth is a poor boy who leads a simple life away from the qualms of the city. His family is poor and by that, I mean, in fact, very poor. Samarth's father and grandfather work on the farm while his mother sings in passenger trains for money. He has a younger brother too who met with an accident a few years back and suffered a great tragedy. The incident left a great hole in Samarth's life and heart, a hole no one except his now incapacitated brother could fill. Samarth felt as if he had been thrown into a black hole. As the heartbreaking event took place, everyone's hopeful eyes shifted to Samarth. It was both despairing as well as painful. The pressure was inexplicable. As the family now could only lean on him to get them out of poverty and get his brother treated, Samarth's shoulders drooped. Can a boy who doesn't do well in studies, is self-doubting and poverty-stricken really reach the sky, achieve his goals and get his family out of poverty as well as his brother treated? Could a mere spark ignite a whole new flame of purpose and belief in himself and be much more than the world perceived of people like him? This book is a symbol of hope for all the poor as well as the rich alike. The story is about showing courage in the face of adversities, fulfilling expectations, never giving up, having confidence in oneself, and being more than people thought... the world thought. The journey to success won't be easy. It is never easy but somehow you just have to believe in yourself, your goal and it will take you to the pinnacle of life.
