The Dam and the Breakwater

(1) a barrier that breaks the force of waves, as before a harbor.

A breakwater or a dam is meant to keep large but (for the time being) unnecessary amounts of water from either spilling out or coming in. The destruction of either structure usually results in catastrophe.

After 10 years of valiantly holding strong inside of Kim Yongsun and Moon Byulyi's hearts, the breakwater controlling love and the dam holding love, are both destroyed due to persistent weathering. The amounts of love trying to exit and the waves of love that were pushing in were much too powerful to bear any longer.
