The war against the continuous rise of evil is one all are called to fight.
However, for the Sheikah people, participation has come in the form of advanced technology. This had allowed many generations to seal away the terror of the Calamity Ganon. The people had given their minds and metal to the cause but had never actually fought against Ganon or his beasts.
This all changed when Hyrule fell. One man, a Sheikah named Kano, felt it was his calling and his duty to assist in the re-establishment of order and to restore peace to the kingdom. He took it upon himself to fight. In the hundred years that passed since the Hero fell, Kano passed down this responsibility to his sons.
Eventually, the call came to rest on the shoulders of a young Hylian named Azami. The burden is now hers to bear to assist as the Hero makes a final effort to save the Princess and the collapsed kingdom from complete extinction.

But Zelda remembers him, the person he once was. He's so different now, and perhaps she is too. The whole land is, transformed by war as Ganondorf works to seize all that he believes once belonged to him, in a time no longer. Link has left his position as the Princess's Knight or at least it's what it seems; He has been reasigned to supervise the reconstruction projects; Revali was the general from his own village warrriors during the monster's attacks to the Rito village, but now that the peace has returned, he seems to avoid the return of an ordinary life so he is given the choice of being a supervisor and to be the sign-language interpreter of a certain little knight. Five years later, Link is a 16-year-old man with severe depression and a Hero chosen by the Master Rifle. He is still in love with Zelda and thinks about her every second of his life. One day, Link saves a woman from the Yiga clan members, and that woman turns out to be Zelda. She tells him about where she has been for the past five years, and once Link finds out the truth, he dedicates his days to helping Zelda feel safe and happy again away from her selfish, rich father Rhoam and her forced fiance, Ganondorf. While Link and Zelda try to save themselves from the abuse, an evil prince from another country declares war on Hyrule in hopes of annexing the kingdom, and Link must go to war, leaving Zelda.
