Divide and conquer; that's all they know. Humans divided sirens and mermaids, people who once lived and worked together. Mermaids abandoned my kind and the only people that we were able to stay with were my family and a few other sirens. Blood was shed, and lives were lost. And I was one of the people to pay for that price.
"I hope you learn to stop doing these bad things, Sirena. If you don't stop, fate will do something bad in return."
I did something that made me seem like the villain of the story when my story was yet to be written.
"F-father, I-I didn't mean it. H-he was trying to hurt me. I didn't mean to do this,"
Facing life in a new environment was hard for my brother and me. I was merely a kid at that time and knew nothing about the strange world they call land.
"F-father?"
I needed to be strong. This world will try to bring me down but I won't let that happen.
"I trusted you!"
I'm Sirena Moonlit and this is my story.

A Mermaid for the Lonely
A mermaid named Sirène, whose job as a mermaid is to guide those who have died at sea to rest their souls and not be trapped. She typically finds sailors whose ships have sunk, and pirates and convoys alike. Her personality is one of seriousness, and she does not express herself by facial expressions very often. She does sung lovely tunes though, ones of the sea and winds, not ones meant to lure anyone to their doom. She seldom spends time with other merfolk and prefers to be on her own. She is however very curious of the various emotions humans possess and their intensity, since she does not feel these. One day, while Sirène was staying near Pointe de Pen Hir, a dangerous cliffside that plunges right into the ocean. Looking upwards by chance, she saw a human, a man, standing dangerously near the edge of the rocks. The wind blew harshly and she could only watch and wait as he toppled over the edge and feel towards the ocean. She saw no fight in him as he fell. ________________________________________________________________ This is a fantasy story with my mermaid OC that I started making back when I was in middle school. I've used her character to help me through tough times and I am revisiting her. I want to make sure I have a place to remember her story, and make it a happier one than before.Complete

"Careful human." The...thing said in a concerned voice. "W-What are you, what d-do you want?" I shakily asked him, curling up my body protecting myself. "Shh human don't be afraid. You are my mate." What is a mate? Why did he bring me here? Who is he? Why is he looking at me like that? From the distance I put between us I could admire him more, and his tail. He really is beautiful. It was a deep teal green colour with gold and blue blended in with it that reminded me of his eyes. He was holding himself up with his arms looking at me curiously, head slightly bent to the side and all. "What are you, what do you want?" I asked slowly, my heartbeat had almost reduced to normal again but I was feeling a strange pull towards the creature in front of me. "I am a Merman and you are my mate." His voice was deep and sounded like music the way he spoke. But mate? "Mate?" I asked hoping to find out the way in which he directed this word. "My love," he paused looking into my hazel eyes. "Come closer human you are beautiful...and mine."Complete

Hello everyone 🙂 I am here with a fantasy blast 💥 This is a human-mermaid love story, and this beautiful story is requested by my dear reader @lohsiewyoong A mermaid, who helped a man and fell in love with him. The man went way after promising her, he will return soon after telling his family about her. But he never returned. The mermaid waits for him for and wanted to tell him that she was expecting their baby. The days become weeks and weeks become months....to years but he doesn't come back. Every nights she wait for him while singing. Eventually her patience runs out and she transforms from a mermaid to a siren after being deceived in love. The story is mine but the characters is not mine. I only took a little help to give my story, to a fantastic look. Please bear my grammar mistakes, because english is not my first-language. "Let me prove to you I am unlike them." Thousands of years ago, there was a faraway land called Oceanum Collis. Many different people lived among each other in peace. Elves, mermaids, werewolves, and humans. After fighting hundreds of wars, the people came to a compromise and started to work together. Realms were united and civilization was born. Oceanum Collis was beautiful and peaceful, but with light comes darkness. The humans felt left out. While the others had magic and great strengths, they were nothing special. A young man, Basil Adelio, found that humans deserved more than to be farmers. But there was more to his plan. He was after the throne, so he could rule all over Oceanum Collis. Together, the magical creatures were able to stop him. The humans left the lands, leaving behind everything they had built. The alliance between the four people was broken. The elves and mermaids tried to rebuild their alliance, but without the werewolves it was impossible. And so the three different people parted, hardly talking to one another ever again. Now, one hundred years later, a new realm has been created. It was separated from the other realms by a large wall. A new leader has risen from the shadows. He believed that the outside world was filled with dangerous things. So, he made sure everyone stayed within the walls of the empire. And those who didn't were never heard of again. As others always looked away, a young man called Orlando, always glanced beyond the wall. One day, he's able to see what's behind the wall for himself instead of hearing stories.
