Their Own Fate

This is an evolving tale that may include more than the two primary
characters of human Lochehart Whiterose, and Norn Bronwyn Cultspawn.

It begins in adulthood, though everyone knows we are the sum of all that
has come before.

Bronwyn, grandaughter of an aging Norn chieftan was supposed to become
the clan's shaman when she came of age, but rivals to her grandfather's
leadership brought to light the truth of her conception that had been
hidden even from her.

Revealed to be spawn of the Dragon cult, daughter to a Son of Svanir,
she was set an impossible task - dying in the attempt she would regain
honour, returning victorious they could have spoken no ill of her... but
she failed, and in shame exiled herself to the frozen hardships of the
Shiverpeak Mountains.

Lochehart, is the son of two low ranking nobles, given their titles for
outstanding service during times of combat. From birth he was taught
that no one was beneath them because of things such as race or
social class, but were to be judged by their merits and actions.

Arming him with these moral values and a wealth of training, he ventured
out into the world. Alas the boy found heartache in the form of a poor
young woman who inadvertently tore his heart to shreds. Blaming himself
and his own shortcomings for this, he set out in search of himself and a
challenge.

He hoped he'd find both amongst the frozen cliffs of the Shiverpeak
Mountains.

And that is where it begins.
