The last thing that Tessa Vaughan wanted was to have to work with her best friend's brother, Tom. From the very moment they met, they had been butting heads - in her defence, he started it. But the project was too important to step away. Never in a million years she had thought that infuriating, uptight, grumpy and rude guy would be so hands-on in a project to help less fortunate communities. With a smile on his face, no less! Not to her though. That infuriated her, that made her blood boil. Surely it was that and not the infuriatingly handsome man. Or his stormy eyes on her. Or his skilled hands on her. Or his delicious lips on her. Certainly not. Thomas Fox never understood the urge to tease Tessa every chance he got. She stirred something in him. It was a mixture of impatience and excitement. Having that furious gaze focused on him made him feel alive. He took any opportunity to provoke her. Her community project was just one of those opportunities. It was the kind of action he'd been a part of since his teenage years, besides he could ruffle her feathers everyday for a couple of months. But the more time he spent with her, the more sides of her he saw, and the more he wanted - her eyes on him, her smile directed at him, to touch her, to kiss her.
