The world has seen many technological advances since the end of the war between Ukraine and Russia, which was both a blessing and a curse. Americans, Germans and the British Colonies made up the Allies, while Russia, North Korea and China made up the main three of the Axis. The war was at its worst in 2077, when Y/N had just returned from a mission in Russia. He was sent home due to the alleged endangerment of his fellow soldiers; however, this granted him some immunity. His home was in a small town that was populated by no more than 30 people, and nearby was a cryogenics testing facility in the form of a vault. The company that owned it, Vault-Tec, was a government-funded organisation that worked to find ways to preserve human life in the case of global disaster: environmental, nuclear, or otherwise. Due to Y/N's service history, he was allowed into the vault during the nuclear warhead exchange between America and China, and that's where our story starts. I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts. You now follow Moscovium, a radioactive element who is friends with someone in the heart of the war, Dubnium. The two of them, the only Russian speaking elements, are appointed by their leader, Tantalum. She demands them to go on a spy mission to Russia, in order to find out the human's scheme to kill the elements before it's too late. (I wrote this story for my friends, but I thought others could enjoy it too. If it's shit, then don't be surprised, I'm not an avid reader or writer.) Ps.
