It was odd to see Levi without his usual deadpan stare. I couldn't tear my eyes away. His grayish blue eyes were strictly set ahead. His face was on the verge of being slathered in straight up anger. His hands hovered around his belt menacingly. And I could only find the entire spectacle a delicate cross between unnerving and attractive...

"What are you looking at?"

Damn it. I don't know why I thought he wouldn't notice... Panicked, I replied with unintentional honesty.

"You."

Levi said nothing in reply for nearly two minutes, up until we approached the barracks. He reached for the door and swung it open, letting everyone else walk in before him. As I passed by, he whispered something into my ear.

"Don't."
