Piper has spent years trapped within the Glade, a haven surrounded by towering stone walls that seal her and dozens of others away from a world they've forgotten. Every day, the maze's runners risk their lives to map its treacherous paths, searching for a way out, while each night, the maze seals itself, keeping them safe-or so they think.
Piper's world is about to spiral out of control. In the maze, questions are dangerous, but one looms over them all: Is there a way out, or is there something they were never meant to find?
