An Archway appears in the middle of Shibuya ,Tokyo sometime in the 21st century. With the whole world concerned and curious about what the other world may hold, the government sends the Japanese Self-Defense Forces to the alternate world beyond the Archway. Led by otaku soldier Kamitani Heishiro, he and his reconnaissance group are accompanied by a few skilled individuals from the alternate world to travel across the dangerous new world.
