I've spent the last year or so studying film in college and it has been the most enjoyable, rewarding and equally chaotic and stressful year of my life. So, me being me, of course that was going to seep into my writing.
This book is all about self-deprecation, confusion, loss, romance and self-discovery. I feel like it's very honest and it was certainly cathartic to write.

Short stories turned into poems for the "best of both worlds" experience. I don't relate to most of them but A LOT of people from all around do. *COMPLETED* Over the years, I'd written many pieces of writing, and shared barely a fraction of them here. As of 2022, I found myself back here again, and in dire need of somewhere to write, and somewhere to share it. This is a collection of poems covering various states of emotion throughout a journey of healing, along with a few of my best from years before. Beneath The Light of a Dying Star
In these pages, the world is both light and heavy-sometimes in the same breath. This is a catch-call collection of my own poetry, prose and/or lyrics that I've accumulated over the years that I related to and enjoyed writing and re-writing. I don't know, I just hope you enjoy them or find some comfort in them as well. :) Also, possibly relevant, I'm queer, autistic/adhd and very traumatized so if you relate, you might, like idk, relate to these maybe or they may be a little too real??
