Rosa has been an outsider since she was young thanks to her ability to connect with the dead. After an unfortunate incident during her freshman year that left her stuck in therapy and the whole school believing her to be delusional, trapped spirits became her only friends. Now that she's preparing to graduate, however, she's slowly realizing that she isn't quite as alone as she once thought she was. As her life begins to spiral further and further out of control, she struggles with new (living) friends, her abilities, family, and her grades. And to make matters worse, someone is hunting her, looking to exploit the gift she has so long taken for granted.
