This story really starts in the middle. Ari, who often goes by A, is propped up against a tree in the middle of a forest with a dagger in her stomach. She's lost a lot of blood already, and she keeps losing more. Helios is kneeling next to her, and they're both trying to figure out what to do.

I'll start at the beginning, though. Ari is a wanderer, traveller, adventurer, and lots of other things. She doesn't have a home, until one day she does. She's chased into the Akiire territory by the Akiire's enemies; the Tesera. Luckily for her, the chief of the Akiire tribe takes her in. Akiire medicine men and women fuss over her until they're sure she's safe.

Then the Akiire initate her as a member of their tribe. She gladly accepts. She's started to like it there, after all.

Then Helios starts talking to her. He's nothing special in the tribe. He's a good warrior, but all the warriors are good. The bad ones have already died. Nonetheless, by the time we get to the forest with the dagger and all that, A has only spoken to Helios a few times. Now he's her only way to stay alive.All Rights Reserved

It's the future, and a war has knocked out half of the human race. The jungle has taken over most of the land, and people live in tribes or groups deep within the forest. Every group has a population of at least 300, and all of the tribes are against each other. Naikee lives in a group called the Sowadan group, and they live in the south region of the world. Each group is forbidden to go past the gates that hide their villages. Naikee is sick and tired of living within the walls of her villages, and she's always wondered what it would be like to go past them. On the morning of her Celebration of Life (basically a birthday), she finds a whole in the wall and runs past the gates and into the wild. After days of traveling she accidentally runs into a group called the Kaiboo, which are one of the most dangerous groups in the world. They are known for their cannibalism, though no one has ever dared to enter their gates. Before anyone can capture her, a boy named Mika runs into her and takes her to a secret underground storage. He only goes to her and talks to give her the meals at morning, afternoon, and night. After several days of this same thing, Naikee finally confronts him and makes him tell her whats going on. They get to talking, and he comes back to check on her more often now. As she develops a crush and they fall in love, they don't realize but they might be changing the course of history. Note: I'm sorry about the spacing, I'm not exactly sure how to do this because it's my first story. Although I Princess Azumi, knew better not to kill the man, I went ahead and just did my normal routine, I did with everyone who crosses my path. It was a little game I play. I threatned "Oh but I can, I can show you if you please." He just turned to the man behind him and laughed his ass off along with the same man behind him. I laughed along with them knowing my next move. "Nice to know that in a matter of minutes your death will occur, and better yet on my hands." I yet again threatened. His eyes widened as I came closer to him and used the, once hidden katana. I shoved it into his stomach and I smirked as I brought the nicely forged sword into the other man stabbing him in the same spot but wispering in his ear "Isn't it nice to see people die?" He grunted and fell onto the floor leaving a puddle of blood. It was indeed nice to see people who stand in my way, die.
