7 years have passed since the chaotic excuse of a fourth grade and Clyde and the gang are starting high school. Clyde is unusually nervous when he arrives at the bus stop on Monday morning, clutching his black Nike rucksack that's slung over one shoulder. He had been thinking about one particular boy always stood out to him; the rich boy Tolkien. They have all been friends since day one but recently Clyde has felt something change in his bond with Tolkien. Whenever he thought of him, it felt like nothing bad ever happened with him. Whenever they make eye contact, the entire atmosphere around them seems to warm up noticibly. When Tolkien laughs, Clyde laughs. Whenever Tolkien grins his pearly white smile, all Clyde can feel is an ever-tightening knot in his heart. Maybe he should talk with the experts... yeah, that might help...
