My imagining of what was said in between missions and how the trust between them formed. Slowish-burn, friends-to-lovers romance, with occasional angst and grief, commonly found in the Wasteland. Both Charmer and MacCready deal with having lost their first loves, due to circumstances beyond their control, yet somehow still manage to fall in love again. Charmer and Robert both face hardships along their journey towards saving their children. Will their newly budded romance be able to withstand the pressure? Or will it prove to be too much for these hardened individuals to take? This story follows and retells quests mostly for timeline and plot purposes. Based heavily on my recent/current playthrough, where I did all of MacCready's companion quests early in the game. Caution Mature Content: violence, death, language, drug-use, mental health issues and descriptive sexual content.
