She's in college going after her degree while dealing with a tragic loss. Life, however, has its ways and love sneaks its way in. Will this new relationship blossom to become her forever? Madison wants to become a pharmacist, and her college experience proves to be everything it's supposed to be. A lot of good times, tons of friends, lots of studying and cramming, and plenty of fun to balance things out. Priya is her roommate and best friend, the one who keeps the party going. Together, they attend class, study hard, and hit the New York City scene when they can. That is, until life intervenes and love blooms. Now, Priya is entrusted to keep Madison's secret, even if she's not quite onboard and concerned about her new relationship. Years later, Madison's secret can no longer stay buried and will blossom as a memoir of a brief moment in time when everything synced, a fleeting moment that disappeared as soon as it appeared. If you feel nostalgic about your college years and enjoy a heartfelt passage down memory lane, then A Glimpse of Color is for you.

I stare at Matt's face as he looks down, concentrating on the game. I can tell he's so angry. He's holding it in his jaw, he's clenching his teeth. He's up in his head and I don't know what's going on up there but I just know it's not good. Even if I get him back out now, I know that he's going to overthink everything later tonight. "Matty, it's ok." I whisper. He immediately looks up and finds my eyes. His blue eyes are bluer than normal. Impossibly blue. Not even a gray blue. But a pure, brilliant blue. "It's not ok, Rach. I fucking hate him." His swear catches me off guard a bit. But my eye contact doesn't waver. "Thank you." "You're welcome." My favorite color immediately changes to blue. --------------- Two childhood friends have spent a lifetime battling demons. Will life ever give them a break? Can Matty and Rachel find an ending that is even remotely happy? --------------- DISCLAIMER: This book contains: Adult language: LOTS of Profanity Mental Health topics (anxiety and depression, PTSD) Adult situations: sex, drugs, alcohol, sexual assault Please be aware that: THIS BOOK COULD BE TRIGGERING.
