Astley lives among the stars, or more accurately put, lived among the stars. Born among a rare and elite race known as the Celestial Wings, she was seen as the perfect candidate to be sent to a youngling planet called Earth to study and protect the new species that seemed to thrive there. While in a dormant state her pod was seized by the only beings the Astrals fear.

In the distant future of the 28th century, mankind had survived near extinction then made it into the wider galaxy. With almost no other sapient life in the Milky Way to stop humanity's expansion. They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. Earth has Fallen, it's as simple as it states. Ten years prior, They came. The Tephra, came to Earth intending to take over the life baring Planet. Kaija was Heir to his Father's Reine. The Tephra were a very tall, fit, Agile and fast, clearly built for hunting. They also stopped aging once they hit adult-hood. Dying only due to sickness, accidents or being slain. Kai's hope was to hopefully unite both races, by force if needed. Kai had long white hair that went past his hips. His skin was a tannish cream tone, a scar over his left eye. He had an agile black tail that was adorned in gold armor. Long pointed elf-like ears. He wore black armor with gold trimming that was protective against attacks of any kind, but was very light making it easy for him to move around. Armored boots adorned with climbing spikes and gloves that exposed his razor-sharp claws. The most distinctive feature of all was the golden skill mask he wore that shown is crystalline blue hues.
