This story explains how she adapts to the academy. But there is her thought-to-be-dead mother shows up and tries to kill Luna and the academy. Has she been consumed by madness? Will the academy be destroyed?

While Lord Death, Spirit, and Stein tried to find a way to locate Soul, the team had to control Maka's reckless behavior of the weaponless meister. For some reason, Kid was the only one who could get through to her. They all decided to let Maka stay at Kid's place for a while. Kid didn't seem to mind, until he starts realizing what he truly feels towards her. Will Kid tell Maka what she means to him? Will Maka remain weaponless?
