Only a few weeks have passed since Freya's had the twins. Things have settled in a chaotic norm with Sam temporarily living with them on work leave to help her and Steve out. With Steve announcing to fully retire and give up the Captain America title, he decides to pass the mantle and shield on to Sam. Who seems to reluctantly accept it. Barely a week goes by before Freya and Steve are informed that Sam had decided to give up the shield in hopes of retiring it. Not believing that he's worthy enough to carry it. But in doing so, it results in Steve and Freya meeting severe consequences that rip their family apart. Forcing Freya to do the unthinkable and team up with the one person she was hoping to never meet. Eventually, she learns that Sam and, surprisingly enough, Bucky have their hands on the same mission she's involved with. Causing their paths to cross in an awkward meeting. What lengths will Freya go to in order to get things back to normal? Will she be able to repair her family?

Two years later, Freya, Steve, and their two best friends, Natasha and Sam, are still on the run after the Avengers' Civil War. Trying to lay low and live as normal of a life as they possibly can, they jump from hotel to hotel as they try to stay out of law enforcement's reach. Of course, having a telepath on your team is definitely handy for that. Freya's had her powers under control for years now, but out of the blue, her precognitive dreams have been making frequent and fierce appearances. What she sees is starting to scare her after all of her previous ones have come to fruition. When a new threat appears that is also connected to Freya's past, how will the fractured Avengers defend not only the world, but the universe as they know it? What lengths will they go to, to ensure the safety of the greater good? "I'm guessing you're here to try and recruit me? Again?" I ask him patiently. I believe this is the fifth-time Nick Fury has come calling. Each and every time I have turned him down, but eventually he comes back and proposes the same thing. "No, I'm here to see if you'd like some girl scout cookies. The Samoa's are selling really well this year." Nick sasses while giving me his signature glare. I smirk. He's a sarcastic jerk, but he is funny. "Oh, well in that case..." I start and trail off, knowing it'll make him even more frustrated. He huffs and my smirk grows. "Why do you want me so bad?" I ask, honestly wanting to know. I watch Nick as he sighs deeply and clasps his hands in front of him. "Your skill set is equal to the best that we have. You would be an invaluable part of the team." He explains, but he knows that isn't what I mean. We stare at each other for a moment before he sighs again. "Your history only makes you more of an impressive subject." He continues and I groan. "The point is that you would help put an end to what happened to you, on a global scale." He says. "Think about it, Shifter." Nick drops a folder on the concrete and starts to walk back to the exit of the roof. I flip through the folder lazily, barely skimming the papers, but I know all of the names already. Once I've gone through most of it I stop and toss it in the dust behind me. Reading it was useless. I wasn't made to be any sort of hero. I DO NOT OWN THE AVENGERS. Y/N Y/LN has been part of the Avengers since the start, she's battled against Loki, Ultron and Hydra. Now the team is her family and everybody loves her. One day the whole team disappears for a mission, half of them come back the next day, two weeks later the rest of the team, minus one. No one wants to tell her what happened. Steve Rogers, her best friend, comes back three whole months later, with a new guy: Steve's childhood best friend Bucky. That's when she finds out that her family has been in a Civil War, all because of Bucky. Tony still can't see past the Winter Soldier, but Y/N can't help but see the broken man full of pain and empty of memories. - For the sake of my own sanity in this story Infinity War and Endgame do not happen. Also Pietro didn't die, Asgard did not get blown up and Loki is an Avenger. Scott also is an Avenger so let's pretend Cassie and her mother and the Pym family all live in New York :) - "You shouldn't be here..." he says quietly. Peter Parker/Avengers one-shots
This is a Peter Parker Avengers family book. Basically things were worked out Captain America Civil War and Peter became an Avenger. That will apply to all of my stories here unless I say otherwise at the top of the chapter. I hope most of these stories will be one part but I tend to write more than I originally plan so sorry if I have multi-part stories, however, I will always finish them and not leave cliffhangers. I'm sorry I'm still not great at descriptions but I take suggestions for this story and everything else I write (no non-canon ships though)... Also this story will have some swears and possibly descriptions of fights and blood. Anyways I would also just like to clarify that I do NOT own any of these characters, they belong to Marvel/the MCU/Disney? and I think Sony because of Spiderman? but I honestly am not certain. Point is, I won nothing relating to their like brands. This is basically my weakest book, not including the flop that was 'the untold stories of the snap' so for the time being not going to be writing more stories for this.
