In the year 2052 ever since I could remember, the government always controlled everything, how many kids you were allowed to have and what jobs you got depending on your government test.
When you turn 18 you're forced to take a government test, if you fail you're given a job in the city. Very few people ever pass the tests, but those who do are never seen again. Some say they're taken to fight in an unknown war by the government but we hardly get any soldiers back and those who do come back don't speak of it.
I turn 18 in a week....
What is this war that they won't tell us about?
What have we been fighting this whole time?
Who is the enemy we've been fighting all along?

"Would you fail the test for me if I asked you to?" I ask knowing his answer already.
"You know I can't fail, my ma's counting on me to pass"
I roll my eyes at his response and move Infront of him, eyeing him up and down before leaning in close.
"Fine. Then would you pass it with me?"
He stares back and forth with his chocolate orbs, gazing intently into my lighter ones while placing a hand against my throat and pushing my head up to face him better.
"I will...only if you kiss me"
