TRIP

It was supposed to be just a summer camping trip.

Then you met him.

A stranger who somehow became your favourite person to sit beside, laugh with, and stay up talking to until the stars disappeared.

Days turned into nights, and somewhere between campfires, stolen glances, and secrets whispered under the summer sky, you started falling for him.

But strange things began happening around the campsite.

People remembered things that never happened. Paths seemed to change overnight. The same conversations happened twice. And sometimes, you'd wake up certain that someone had been standing outside your tent, even though no one was there.

Still, you had Judas.

"You know I love you, right?"

"Fuck off. We can't be in love..."

You laughed, thinking he was joking.

Because what could possibly be wrong with a summer camping trip?

Except the trip was never real.

And neither was the life you thought you were living.

By the time you realize what the campsite really is, you may already be too late to leave.
