Romance
Maya had a lot of conditions for the guy she was going to marry. For one, he had to be EXACTLY like this one dude in a game she played, because he was the only man ever. And he was fictional. For the others, the list went 4 pages long. Regardless though, she knew no matter how perfect he was, she would still end up thinking about her ex, who she cant believe she still had feelings for despite it being over 2 years after the breakup, and she knew that as long as those feelings existed, it would be dishonest of her to be with someone else, especially someone as perfect as the kind of man that matched all the conditions of her list. So imagine her surprise when the "only man ever but make it real" named Zane turns up at her doorstep, as an arranged marriage prospect. And triple that amount of surprise with the fact that he wanted nothing to do with romantic feelings and only wanted a "dutiful marriage" (his words) where they would only perform their duties as husband and wife and cohabit and no feelings had to be involved, for the sake of business, family and society, etc etc. It was like a marriage customized for her from the heavens. After all, if there are no expectations of feelings, she is free to love a love she can't ever have, right? ----------------------- Disclaimer: There may be sexual content further ahead in the story. idk, i'm typing whatever comes to mind. college stress relief lol
