After Deku's mom died and no heroes even tried to save her, Deku gave up on trying to be a hero living off of the money he gets from sex and just trying to get through this cruel thing we call life. When Deku saw how much Bakugou cares about him, he started to fall in love with him but his depression kept destroying his life. His thoughts got worse and darkened from day to day until he wasn't able to keep himself alive any minute longer.
