"I hate you Kiyotaka. Why are you doing this?" Kei screamed, with her ocean blue eyes brimming with fresh tears.

"Because I want to." Kiyotaka answered in a monotone, softly wiping her tears off, as though he was not the source of those tears in the first place.

Something unimaginable happens at the eve of their graduation, breaking Kiyotaka and Kei apart in a matter of hours, never to be connected again.

While Kei had been reliving some of the worst memories at the end of her school life, the world did not stand still. The advent of a new political system had shaken the foundations of the nation that had been set in stone since its existence centuries ago.

Now five years later, they meet again. The meeting went the way Kei had least expected it to go.
