There are 6 elements that rule this world. 

Fire. One that brings warmth. One that brings all us together, but get too close to it, and you will burn. 

Water. One that gives life. One that cools the body when the heat gets too unbearable. Just watch out as it can drag you down into the depths of the ocean. 

Wind. One that carries harmonic music of nature across the world. One that flows around you like a dance. Beware of what you say as secrets are revealed once words get out. 

Earth. One that steadies the ground underneath us. One that gives us bountiful food. But even the toughest of rock as gave away if you don't watch your step. 

Light. One that guides you down the path of enlightenment. One that give hope in hopeless situations. Do not trust it full as the lies blinds you from the truth. 

Dark. One that shields you from foe. One that hides the weakest of weak but it cannot tell predators from prey. 
Six elements. 

Six kingdoms. 

Like any world, there are problems that will eventually happen. 

That is why the Princess of the Dark is forced to marry the Prince of the Light to bring peace between the two kingdoms.

It is fortunate for the Princess's most trusted knight is there for her, even if the truth slow unravel itself the long the two live there.

After the country split in two, the nations renamed themselves the Ameliorates and the Extricates. The Ameliorates live in a community full of stability and order. Melody Sharpe is the daughter of the Ameliorates' leaders. All her life she was told that the Extricates lived in a place full of chaos and destruction. What happens when she finds herself questioning everything she had once been taught? What does she do when she meets Dean Martin--the son of the Extricate leaders--who tells her that everything she knows is a lie? Why did the Extricates really split away from the Ameliorates? Why do the Extricates fear the Ameliorates more than anything else? Are the Extricates really the "bad" side? The balance of nature is a beautiful thing. Everyone knows that balance is helped by Mother Nature. What people don't know is that there is too much chaos in the world for one person to handle. Mother Nature needed help to keep the balance between humans and nature. She chose four people. Four elements. Fire, air, earth, and water. If society knew the elements walked among them the results could be catastrophic. People can belief in someone bigger than themselves, but if they knew what really went on the balance would die. The elements are to tell no one of their powers. The four most often form two couples. Mainly fire with air, and earth with water. The balance naturally is two boys and two girls. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing.
