But the woman who steps through the portal isn't the warrior of hope they expected.

The void delivered a predator instead of a protector. A cynical soul from Earth's underworld who believes in neither prophecies nor heroes. In the face of total war, she offers no prayers, only terms. Before she draws her blade for Pantharis, she demands a steep price for her service.

As she treks across the jagged cliffs toward the last holy sanctuary, she forces her desperate summoners into a Pactum: a cold, blood-bound contract that proves her blade is for hire, but her soul is her own. While the enemies close in and the shadows of a past she doesn't remember begin to stir, she must decide:
