Toko, Genocider, and Komaru continue their journey through Towa city in an effort to try and stop the spread of despair. But something unexpected happens while walking through the ruble and abandoned buildings. Toko and Genocider somehow end up somewhere they're not supposed to be and die, although they were not supposed to. 

And now, they explore the realm of spirits in purgatory as they try to get back to their body as fast as possible. Meanwhile, Komaru tires to survive Towa city(and other parts of Japan), with its unfriendly inhabitants
