Running her deceased grandmother's bed and breakfast, Andie gets sucked into a former patron's family drama when she agrees to let displaced mom, Paula, and her three children hide out. Things really go sideways when the arrogant and handsome brother, Lou, arrives. Folding under the stress of the uncertainty of their situation, the woman flees with her youngest, leaving her two teens behind with Lou and Andie.
Andie steps up, realizing the tremendous stress placed on the children and Lou. They fall into an easy routine and soon they fall for each other. But Paula's past catches up with them and Lou is forced to make a choice to protect his niece and nephew.
A break in Paula's case means they are all free to resume life as normal, yet no one can seem to figure out what that means. Paula wants her kids back. Lou wants Andie back. But some decisions have lasting consequences as the sister and brother learn.
