Paisley has just moved to a small and quiet little town called Bluewood. The people who live in Bluewood all know each other, so being accepted is out of the question until she meets Joseph. Paisley develops a major crush on him. She also meets a girl named Avalon. Paisley and Avalon start to become great friends, but one evening when they go to the beach to surf. While they are out on the water, a storm hits. Not just a thunderstorm, but a tempest. It washes the girls up on shore unconscious with little memory of what happened. Later that day, Paisley and Avalon discover that they're mermaids! Will they be able to keep it a secret?
