After a devastating attack from his own father leaves 16-year-old wolf Eli physically and mentally broken, he's left to live with his only remaining living relative, his uncle, in the far reaches of Northern Canada. Thinking he can finally leave his traumatic past behind; he starts life anew in the small town, befriending an eccentric black cat and a mysterious crow. But the monsters of his past always have a way of finding him, and this time will be no different as he tries to keep his new friends safe from the horrors that lie in the shadows, while attempting to piece together the fractured remnants of a life he'd rather have forgotten.

There is mature content in this story including themes of violence, suicide, self-harm, mental illness, abuse, and some sexual content.
